Making money has never been as easy as it has become today because of the technology called the internet. Simply put, the internet is a connection of various computers connected by servers and they all communicate with one another to provide real time information to the user on request.
In my search for ways to make some extra money to meet ever increasing expenses, I have come across various seemingly good opportunities, some genuine and some out rightly bad ones.
In all, I have discovered the following principles to be important when seeking out online money making opportunities:
1. Avoid programme that promise overnight riches e.g. programs that have headers like “Make $5000 in a day “sounds too good isn’t it? but I tell you they are simply out to rip you off your money’s principle here is I”If it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is”.
2. As a newbie to online money making opportunity, never pay to join any program, to earn money. There are various sites that pay you top do things for them and they are usually free to join.
3. Slow and steady: never expect to become extremely rich in a short time of starting your online money making venture. Instead, learn and build your income slow and steady and in no long time you will get there.
4. Research: it is necessary to research into every opportunity you come across. Some of these opportunities are time wasters and will take so long to get you anywhere. You need to understand if the program is suitable for you or not, the terms and conditions, what are you required to do, how much is the expected income from the opportunity and will you be paid per task, the minimum payout etc, you must also know if payment will be in cash, gift cards or vouchers is the program restricted to countries or regions?
5. Focus: You will come across various opportunities but you need to focus on the area of your interest. For when you work within your area of interest, you enjoy it and then you can do it more effectively and ultimately get paid for enjoying yourself.
6. Timing: You need to create your own work schedule i.e. when and how do you work on the sites you have selected. You can decide on the number of hours you want to work per week. For me, I work on the social networks am involved with every 2 days. I make a minimum of 10 posts in each every 2 days then I respond to the posts from others in the days between, but but its working for me.
7. Follow the tried and trusted programs: You must never try to reinvent the wheels, you may be frustrated. Look out for the programs that have been proven to pay and follow them unless you have a very creative and out of this world idea which will be a hot cake.

THE THING ABOUT ONLINE SCAMS
Have you ever been scammed on the internet? Well, if you are like me you would have had a few not so good experiences with the so-called internet gurus.
After a number of experiences, I have become wiser and will never make the same mistakes again.
I used to have the erroneous believe (out of inexperience) that one can make lots of money on the internet without so much effort. A few lost dollars and frustrations later I now know better and I have made up my mind never to allow others fall into the same pit I fell into.
I have learnt that making money on the internet takes a lot of cmmitment, hardwork, lots of patience and learning. Remember nothing good comes easy.
This article is not to say that wealth creation on the internet is impossible am just saying that there are too many scammers out there on the internet and they usually prey on newbies (newcomers) and the inexperienced on the internet.
They use various means and hype in their marketing efforts to get your attention and ultimately your money and leave you high and dry. I remember my first experience with a site(I cant remember the URL now) the site gimmick, promised I can make $1000 in just a week without doing so much with little or no experience. Now ,as at that time I needed a lifting and was ready to do just about anything to make money but not stealing or crime, in short, I was desperate,
I quickly funded my e-gold account and made my payments, you can imagine my frustration after paying $49.99 through my e-gold account and am still waiting for a response from the site owner today 3years and disappointments later. I practically did all I could to contact the site owner through the email given on the site until my mail started coming back as undelivered. The only response I got was the confirmation that my payment was received.
All efforts to reach them on the site proved abortive, I therefore gave up and licked my wound of frustrations. It was painful need less to say that I lost believe in the internet. My second experience was funny too but I can tell you that it was my fault to have become a victim of an internet scam the second time.
So, how can you recognize a scam on the internet? There a re various ways, the followings are some of the things to look out for:
1. Most scam sites will never give a phone number on their site. In fact, if and when they give, try calling such numbers its either it’s not working or it’s disconnected.
2. There is always so much hype about the product or program, too many marketing terms are cramped into the sales letter and it usually have a very strong sense of urgency for you to pay up or join the program. If you pay, the product will not be anything near what was said about it in the sales letter. Consider this advert “Make $2500 in just 2 weeks, the best program ever online, sign up today and start making money with no effort or little experience”. My advice when you see such is RUN! RUN!!RUN!!!
3. Another thing is the content of the site: the grammar is usually badly composed. You will usually find too many grammatical blunders on the site.However; most of them have perfected this by giving their articles to freelance copywriters who help them with good write-ups.
4. They will not disclose their address, and will only give you an email that is most likely non-functional, When you see an email on a site you are interested in, send them and email with the address given ,if you don’t get a response in 3 days, then forget it, serious minded business will usually respond within 48 hours.
5. They will not display the secured site code on their site and will most likely avoid using the secure and more reliable payment processors such as paypal.
6. They usually carry too-good-to-be-true promises, remember if it’s too good to be true then it probably is, e.g. the stuff envelopes from home.
7. If an offer for an online business requires you to keep a business a secret, then you must know that you are in for a scam.
8. When you get emails from people you don’t know asking to transfer money to your account and requires your account details, dear friend avoid it at all costs. In fact delete the message immediately.
There are other ways to discover these scams, but the points raised here will definitely help, if given attention.

It’s yet another wonderful and bright day and I am really in a festive mood, getting busy with shopping for Christmas and sending cards and messages to friends and families.
I hope you are also having fun like I am? However, if you find yourself still struggling in your finances, I want you to know that all is not lost and you can definitely change your situation and by this time next year, you will sing a different tune. You can turn the tables around in your favor and that is the reason for this blog.
Have you ever wondered or asked yourself why some people are making all the money but you are barely getting by? If this refers to you then this article is for you.
I want you to know that no matter what your dreams are, they are achievable and attainable. You can make a positive change in your life if only you know how and what to do.
I have discovered that many are not lazy, they have taken action to improve their lives, tried many opportunities and all sorts of things but yet without any form of success. That exactly is the problem, doing too many things ,jumping from one opportunity to the other, one business to the other, one investment to the other (I used to be like that)yet not taking time to master any.
If you find yourself in this situation, let me just tell you, the crime you are committing is “LACK OF FOCUS”, you never allowed yourself to master any opportunity before jumping into another, you therefore end up being frustrated and watching your investment(time, money and emotions) going down the drain.Oh!what a waste !
For you to succeed financially in 2008, you must stop this dilly dallying and be focused.
Without wasting too much time lets get down to business and see some of the reasons why you are yet to succeed financially.
MAKING THE RIGHT CHOICE: Many are confused as regards what opportunities, investments or income producing business to go for. This is usually because of fear. Many opportunities will be thrown at you at every point of your life, this tend to get you confused as you may not be sure of the authenticity of these opportunities. For many they just refused to do anything for fear of loosing their investment. If you are to succeed financially in 2008, you need to consider every investment or opportunity thrown at you and research into their authenticity and suitability for you.
This will help you to make quality and profitable decisions that will see you moving up in your financial pursuit.
DISTRACTIONS: Did you ever notice that these days everywhere you turn many offers are thrown at you? Ranging from online stock trading, internet marketing, forex trading, affiliate marketing etc. Now don’t get me wrong, I am not saying these are not genuine opportunities, of course some of them are genuine, but you must learn to say a big “NO” TO MANY OF THESE OFFERS ESPECIALLY IF THEY ARE NOT CRITICAL TO YOUR SUCCESS IN WHAT YOU HAVE CHOSEN TO DO. You cannot be involved in every money-making opportunity in the world; you must choose one area and become a MASTER in it. If you now decide to create multiple streams of income you can go for the next opportunity and follow the same process. Doing so many things at the same time is asking for trouble.
NOT ACTING DECISIVELY: Sometimes you get some opportunities for a limited time to quickly make some money; such opportunities should be fully exploited without delay as they may never come again in a long time. Now don’t misunderstand me, what am talking about here is taking advantage of opportunities when they are available ,but you need to be sure of what you are doing, an example is sometime two years ago when a friend of mine was about to travel abroad and he decided to sell his car to me at a ridiculously low price, though I was not in the automobile industry, I bought the car from him and sold it for a profit of almost 200%,this is what am talking about taking decisive decisions when opportunities come. Also, an opportunity to learn about the things that will help you improve on your business should be grabbed with both hands. You must learn to recognize offers that are right for you at any particular time and take advantage of them.
TRAINING IS IMPORTANT: You need balanced training to succeed in whatever business you have chosen .for example if you go for a training session in any business you are only taught the “ins” and “out’ of the business but the training does not include how to organize your business to get the best out of the training, coping with the distraction, discouragements, depressions and frustrations you may encounter, growing your business one step at a time etc.
These are all critical issues that are responsible for many business failures today. This is part of the reason for the existence of this blog.It is totally committed to your financial success.
FOCUS: This is your ability to stick to a particular business, opportunity, idea while applying different techniques to make it work. If you must succeed financially in 2008, you must stop jumping from one business to the other. Focus is about the most important part of this write up, without focus you will have very little success. You must choose one business that you are most comfortable with and work it learning the how and how not of the business.
So how do you improve your ability to focus?

The year 2007 is almost gone. imagine that today is 31st December 2008 and that you are stretched out in one exotic resort far away in a place you have always dreamt of being able to go. With a glass of your favorite drink in your hand and your wife and children enjoying themselves around a pool not so far away fro you.
Close your eyes and imagine that
· You live I your own house furnished to your taste’
· You have a fleet of choice cars ,
· You can afford to wine and dine with your family and friends in fancy restaurants without a worry about the high bill,
· You have total control of your finances’
· You are free from debts,
· Have your own business running and making money for you even while you are on vacation.
Now come back to reality, you don’t have to only dream about all these. You can achieve it. That dream can come true for you. Do you wish you can be in this situation? Is that your aspirations for 2008? Do you wish to be free fro debt and have total control of your finances and have peace of mind?
The good news is that you can achieve all these, whatever your aspirations are, they are achievable.
I am prompted to put up this blog because of the experience I had recently. I was at a meeting with a group of about 50 people (male and female).In the course of introduction, I discovered that about 48% of these individuals are unemployed, another 35% were employed but are not satisfied with their financial position,(this was my case some 3years ago),another 12% were involved in personal businesses but they are either struggling or are not making enough to live the kind of life they desire, while only 55 of this group are employed and earning good salaries.
I have come to realize that even while you are employed and earning good salaries this does not secure your future because the moment you get retrenched or you are forcefully retired from your work as a result of age, it maybe difficult to adjust to living if you don’t have enough money put aside to take care of your future.
In recent times a lot grammar are coming up in the corporate world such as acquisition,(where large companies take over smaller ones to take advantage of the market place),mergers where large companies come together to form a formidable force within their industry, downsizing(which have seen a lot of organizations reduce the number of employees so as to reduce expenses, while these employees loose their source of livelihood). Does this mean anything to you? if it does then I advise you keep checking on this blog spot as I will be dishing out resourceful information and resources to help you in building your own business whether on part time or full time as the case may be.

Now come back to reality, you don’t have to only dream about all these. You can achieve it. That dream can come true for you. Do you wish you can be in this situation? Is that your aspirations for 2008? Do you wish to be free fro debt and have total control of your finances and have peace of mind?
The good news is that you can achieve all these, whatever your aspirations are, they are achievable.
I am prompted to put up this blog because of the experience I had recently. I was at a meeting with a group of about 50 people (male and female).In the course of introduction, I discovered that about 48% of these individuals are unemployed, another 35% were employed but are not satisfied with their financial position,(this was my case some 3years ago),another 12% were involved in personal businesses but they are either struggling or are not making enough to live the kind of life they desire, while only 55 of this group are employed and earning good salaries.
I have come to realize that even while you are employed and earning good salaries this does not secure your future because the moment you get retrenched or you are forcefully retired from your work as a result of age, it maybe difficult to adjust to living if you don’t have enough money put aside to take care of your future.
In recent times a lot grammar are coming up in the corporate world such as acquisition,(where large companies take over smaller ones to take advantage of the market place),mergers where large companies come together to form a formidable force within their industry, downsizing(which have seen a lot of organizations reduce the number of employees so as to reduce expenses, while these employees loose their source of livelihood). Does this mean anything to you? if it does then I advise you keep checking on this blog spot as I will be dishing out resourceful information and resources to help you in building your own business whether on part time or full time as the case may be.
